Key Responsibilities

As an Airfield Civil Engineer, your contributions will include:
  • Designing and planning civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, and utilities.
  • Conducting quantity calculations and preparing specifications and contract documents.
  • Managing permitting processes.
  • Executing complex assignments that require sound judgment in selecting and modifying engineering techniques.
  • Acting as a technical authority in specialized areas to resolve complex issues.
  • Planning and developing projects that significantly impact major company initiatives.
  • Collaborating with Design Center Leads and Aviation teams across regions to deliver projects effectively.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field in Aviation Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing civil/site design projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.
