Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer with a robust background in product security and extensive knowledge in web security, application vulnerabilities, and identity access management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of software security standards and best practices.
This role will involve acting as the technical authority in various domains of application and product security. Responsibilities include conducting design evaluations, performing technical security assessments, and executing code reviews to identify risks and assist engineering teams in enhancing the security posture of our products. The successful candidate will demonstrate both deep and broad technical expertise across diverse disciplines and will engage hands-on with various software designs and technology stacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing sophisticated security measures aligned with the technical architecture of our organization.
- Conducting regular security assessments and code reviews to bolster software security.
- Diagnosing and resolving security issues promptly as they arise.
- Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation related to software security protocols.
- Providing engineering solutions to address security vulnerabilities in new software developments.
- Ensuring security is integrated at all levels of the software architecture.
- Keeping abreast of the latest tools and advanced practices in software security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proven technical writing skills and experience in project or program management.
- Experience with AWS security, Kafka, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with DAST, SAST, and SCA tools and their remediation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and Angular.
