Job Summary:

KSA Engineers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our Aviation Practice Group. As an Aviation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing airport infrastructure projects, including runway and taxiway design, airfield lighting, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop airport infrastructure projects, including runway and taxiway design, airfield lighting, and drainage systems.
  • Prepare engineering plans and specifications for airport construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design/drafting technical staff to ensure project compliance with KSA practices and quality, safety, and governmental design standards.
  • Provide estimates for engineering fee budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and design software, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Newforma.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
  • Passed F.E. exam.
  • E.I.T. certification preferred.
  • Familiar with MS Office Software (TEAMS, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AutoCAD and Civil3D experience and/or working knowledge of design software.
  • Responsiveness and results-oriented.
  • Continuous, self-motivated learner.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
