About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader with at least 5 years of experience in leadership roles, preferably in the arboriculture or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.

The Sales Director - Arboriculture Leader will be responsible for developing and executing a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base. This includes identifying new market opportunities, creating plans to expand our market presence, leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners, and overseeing day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals.
    • Identify new market opportunities and create plans to expand our market presence.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
    • Provide coaching, training, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Sales Operations:
    • Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and client deliverables.
  5. Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and growth opportunities.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
    • Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective sales practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the arboriculture or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
