Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Leadership Director will oversee a team of sales managers to execute Pacira's business sales strategy and tactics, driving revenue growth and meeting or exceeding sales objectives.

This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic sales initiatives and tactical plans to achieve business goals for assigned markets through effective leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a regional sales plan aligned with Pacira's strategic sales plan and revenue targets.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and create lead generation strategies to enhance existing processes.
  3. Continuously develop and implement an efficient sales process, meeting established sales metrics.
  4. Establish strong relationships with customers across all key sales channels.
  5. Collaborate with hospital and healthcare system partners to drive repeat and new business.
  6. Participate in industry associations, networking, client revitalization, and outreach activities to expand customer base.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Medical) and external partners to achieve sales objectives.
  8. Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to provide forecasting data, supplier experience feedback, product performance insights, and market trends to inform strategic product selection, inventory management, and delivery.
  9. Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales managers by providing regular, actionable feedback.
  10. Deliver sales training and best practices to educate the sales force on effective sales methods for Pacira products.
  11. Recruit, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
  12. Provide direction to a regional management team to meet Pacira's business sales objectives.
  13. Drive sales growth and profit objectives through targeted initiatives.
  14. Distribute resources effectively to achieve sales goals.
  15. Communicate Pacira's vision, mission, and objectives to stakeholders.
  16. Utilize Pacira's Performance Management Process to consistently measure progress toward objectives, deliver business results, and model leadership qualities to enhance personal effectiveness and growth.

The incumbent collaborates closely with all functional areas and directly with the commercial team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • MBA from an accredited institution preferred.
  • 5 years of people management experience required.
  • 2 years of second-line leadership (managing people managers) preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in medical/bio/pharmaceutical sales.
  • Prior experience with pain products beneficial.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, the individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers and sales representatives, and proven organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
