We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to lead our global fastening tooling efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support future programs, campaign prevention, and reaction plans for our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Global Fastening Tooling: Develop and implement global fastening tooling standards to support future programs, campaign prevention, and reaction plans for our manufacturing facilities.
- Program-Specific Fastening Projects: Lead program-specific fastening projects and strategies during the development phase of the program through sourcing and purchase order issuance.
- Manufacturing Plant Collaboration: Work directly with our North American Final Assembly Manufacturing plants to execute overall fastening strategies.
- Fastening Tooling Standards: Define, maintain, and update fastening tooling standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across our manufacturing facilities.
- Program Costing: Assist in the development of and ensure full alignment on program costing to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct experience with manufacturing, preferably across multiple skill teams.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, and communication ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fastening Foundation: Fastening foundation with the ability to both learn and teach to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across our manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to Travel: Ability to travel and interface with our North American Manufacturing Plants to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities to effectively address and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
