About the Role:

The Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for driving client retention and growth through strategic account planning and execution. This role requires a consultative approach, working closely with C-level executives to develop and implement effective strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Manage forecast accuracy and quota performance to drive business results

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment)
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
