Part-Time HR Generalist Job Description

About the Role:

The CGC Group is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time HR Generalist to join our team in Miami. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for a range of HR functions, including policy implementation, recruitment, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective interviewing techniques to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the hiring process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address HR-related challenges and improve overall HR processes.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and propose HR solutions.
  • Assist in managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Support initiatives to promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a corporate environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Ability to work onsite in Miami 5 days a week.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
  • Experience in conducting interviews and managing the recruitment process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop action plans and implement effective HR solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position, 25 hours per week.
  • Able to work 5 hours a day Monday through Friday.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and candidate availability.

Compensation:

  • The pay for this role is $25 an hour, paid every Friday. Can opt in for Dental, Vision and 401k.
