Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the creation and distribution of precise and timely invoices to residents and third-party payers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations concerning billing and revenue management in a senior living context.
  • Evaluate and enhance billing systems and processes to guarantee efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, including monitoring payments, addressing overdue accounts, and reducing outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile all revenue charges with the general ledger.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to optimize revenue collection and enhance cash flow.
  • Manage the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from residents, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate promptly with residents and their families regarding billing inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide clear and precise information about billing procedures, charges, and payment options.
  • Generate regular reports on billing and revenue activities, including aging reports, collection rates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly revenue assessments to ensure accurate billing submissions, with correct rates and appropriate codes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and account reconciliation.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits related to billing and revenue.
  • Supervise and mentor billing staff, offering guidance and support to ensure high performance and compliance with policies.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in billing and revenue cycle management required.
  • Experience in senior living or healthcare preferred.
  • Familiarity with third-party payers (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
  • Strong skills in collections and accounts receivable management.
  • Proficient in Office 365, particularly Excel and billing software.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
  • Experience working with an older demographic.
  • Supportive of FellowshipLIFE, Inc.'s mission and philosophy.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
Compensation:
  • Starting salary of $85,000
  • Full-time position
  • Exempt status
