Position – Senior Business Systems Analyst (ServiceNow)
Location – Hybrid Role
Employment Type - Full Time
Essential Skills: KYC, AML, Data Mapping, SQL, Azure.
Job Overview: A blend of business domain expertise and finance background complemented by technology proficiency is essential.
- Minimum of 8 years of comprehensive IT experience.
- Preferred experience in the Credit Card sector.
- Solid understanding of the Banking sector and its regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Banking applications/projects – including Credit Card, Commercial, Retail, and Wealth Management.
- Financial domain expertise encompassing Commercials, Retail, Cards, AML, Regulatory and Compliance.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to review and validate project requirements, preferably utilizing Azure.
- Engage with system owners and business architects to explore and design various data/source mapping scenarios.
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs with development teams once all specifications are confirmed, maintaining constant communication regarding any changes.
- Facilitate workshops to evaluate data mapping, identify gaps, and follow up on action items.
- Work alongside the business conversion testing team and development QA team to assess test cycle dashboards.
- Contribute to Data Governance documentation (PIA, PDA) and define data models.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies, including scrum meetings, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Document all requirements on the confluence page, including revision history, requirements, Current State Analysis, Business Process Flow, Data Flow Diagrams, source to target mapping, source queries, data profiling, and test case validation.
- Create and update Jira tickets for sprint stories, detailing the request, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and links to the BSA confluence page for further details.
- Exhibit strong, effective, and timely communication skills, both written and verbal, with various project stakeholders.
- Possess a robust understanding of Data Mappings, Business Rules Mapping, and Source to Target System Mappings.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure Cloud migration is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with real data across any domain.
- Innovative thinkers with strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving skills.
- Extract data from primary and secondary sources while ensuring data integrity.
- Guarantee the accuracy and quality of data.
- Develop and manage data systems and databases with proficient SQL knowledge.
- Establish KPIs that yield actionable insights.
- Utilize data to analyze trends that inform business policies and decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to formulate and enhance data governance strategies.
- Proficient in drafting Jira User Stories.
- Excellent communication skills.
