Comfort Keepers is on the lookout for a committed and skilled Homecare Services Coordinator (HSC) to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate in-home support for seniors and older adults who need assistance and companionship. As an HSC, you will empower our caregivers to deliver personalized care that significantly improves the quality of life for our clients.

Position Overview:

The Homecare Services Coordinator (HSC) collaborates with the office support team to oversee the client journey from initial contact through ongoing care. Your responsibilities will begin in the office, where you will manage and nurture caregiver-client relationships by effectively organizing the client schedule. This involves assigning tasks to caregivers based on their skills, performance, and the specific needs of clients. You will also facilitate communication between caregivers and clients, ensuring that all care requirements are met while proactively addressing any potential concerns. Additionally, you will work to maintain optimal staffing levels to accommodate new clients.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in scheduling within client care, is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to engage in extended phone communications.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, with the ability to pass a background check.
