How Our Team Helps
Our team of caregivers and patient care specialists play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Some of their key responsibilities include:
- Administering prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN).
- Presenting medication to patients and observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures.
- Taking vital signs or observing patients to detect response to medication, and reporting reactions.
- Restocking medication inventories.
- Providing direct patient care and ensuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
