In-Home Care Coordination Specialist

Comfort Keepers is on the lookout for a committed and skilled Homecare Services Coordinator (HSC) to join our dedicated team. Our mission is to provide compassionate in-home support for seniors and older adults who need assistance, companionship, and care in their daily lives. As a Homecare Services Coordinator (HSC), you will play a pivotal role in empowering our caregivers to deliver personalized care that significantly improves the quality of life for our clients and their families.
Position Overview:
The Homecare Services Coordinator (HSC) collaborates closely with the office support team to oversee the client journey from initial contact through ongoing care. Your responsibilities will commence in the office, where you will actively engage in nurturing and monitoring the relationships between caregivers and clients by effectively managing the client schedule. This involves assigning tasks to caregivers based on their expertise, performance, and the specific needs of each client. Additionally, the HSC will facilitate communication between caregivers and clients, ensuring that all care requirements are met while addressing any potential concerns that may arise. Lastly, the HSC will ensure that the office maintains sufficient staffing levels to meet the demands of prospective clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in scheduling within client care, is preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exemplary leadership and people management abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to engage in extended phone communications.
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, with the ability to pass a background check.
