Role Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of assigned projects, including planning, coordinating product orders, managing change orders, and addressing project-related challenges. The goal is to ensure that projects are completed within the financial parameters set by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand project requirements, including job files, contracts, budgets, and any relevant specifications.
  • Establish project timelines and necessary material delivery dates, creating a roadmap to meet the project's schedule.
  • Conduct field verifications and participate in job site meetings as necessary.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals, coordinating changes with the scheduling team until contractor approval is obtained.
  • Provide shipping information and required dates to the Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving departments.
  • Manage the phasing of materials according to approved schedules.
  • Collaborate with contractors and colleagues to resolve project issues and provide ongoing product knowledge and support.
  • Prepare and submit change order proposals to contractors, detailing project specifics, lead times, and pricing.
  • Address product warranty issues and back charges in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Construction Management or a related field, with a minimum of four years of experience in project management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer relations capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and conflict resolution.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic and geometry.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability for driving.

Work Environment: This position will initially be remote, transitioning to onsite work as needed. Standard business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.
