Position Summary
The Project Engineer - Commercial/Light Industrial Construction will play a pivotal role in the management of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing project management activities and fostering collaboration among various teams.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Facilitating communication between design teams and field operations.
- Creating and executing site utilization plans while determining appropriate crew sizes.
- Assisting the Project Manager with budget management and cost control.
- Engaging with subcontractors to develop a comprehensive bidders list.
- Preparing detailed project status reports for client coordination.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer position will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- Relevant experience in construction project management.
- Proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, and CMIC software.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Adaptability to meet project demands and ensure successful outcomes.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive compensation package that includes:
- A base salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, along with an attractive Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
