Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead the successful completion of construction projects within allocated time and budget.
- Preconstruction Coordination: Actively coordinate work during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
- Compliance and Safety: Manage projects in compliance with North Carolina building codes, ensuring adherence to building codes, safety regulations, OSHA, and EPS standards.
- Client Representation: Serve as the primary representative for all assigned projects, coordinating activities and collaborating with team members for successful project outcomes.
- Project Documentation: Review and update project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and compliance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate project records for accounting, billing, and claims.
- Closing and Certification: Implement punch list processes, inspections, certifications, closeout agreements, and more.
- Client Relationships: Maintain relationships with clients for future opportunities.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction management and general construction (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical).
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage both new builds and renovation projects.
- Teamwork: Strong team player with a track record of addressing challenges and providing growth-oriented solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of legal documents and construction industry regulations.
- Business Acumen: Experience working with a small, privately-owned business is a plus.
- Personal Qualities: Dependable, results-oriented, and ethical, with verifiable references.
- Certifications: Must pass background and drug screenings.
