Position Overview
SAIC is a premier provider of systems development and deployment, intelligence analysis, systems engineering, and training solutions for the Intelligence Community. We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong focus on Cloud technologies and Enterprise Architecture. In this role, you will act as a key technical advisor, providing insights and guidance to the Government Program Manager (PM) on various technical challenges and inquiries related to the systems under their purview.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering expert technical guidance in the development, maintenance, and visualization of software architecture, including data components.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation to support the architecture of the project portfolio, including Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
- Acting as a technical liaison for system architecture, emphasizing performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to assess mission requirements, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, evaluate applications, and formulate transition plans in support of Cloud initiatives.
- Providing in-depth technical knowledge and analysis of specialized applications and operational environments, along with high-level systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation advice for complex issues.
- Assisting the customer with technical oversight of Service Providers for the project portfolio.
- Leading technical efforts for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology.
- Engaging with the Government on systems engineering IT technical considerations and associated challenges.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; or a PhD or JD with nine (9) years of experience.
- 3-5 years of experience within an Intelligence Community Agency, preferably with ODNI.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud technologies and Enterprise Architecture.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks.
- Extensive experience and understanding to provide sound technical counsel to the Government PM across various topics.
- Proven ability to facilitate discussions with technical personnel on behalf of the customer.
- Capacity to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
