Responsibilities:

  • Enter changes into the payroll system to ensure payroll runs smoothly.

  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and screening resumes.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
  • Handle general office tasks, including filing, answering phones, and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Assist in organizing HR events, such as employee recognition programs and company outings.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed, including data entry, research, and special projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using HRIS software (e.g., ADP) and other HR and payroll tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in Human Resources preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a human resources or administrative role, preferably in the waste management or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with ADP or similar system is strongly preferred.
