Nexthreat is seeking experienced Mac professionals to provide exceptional support to high-profile clients, ensuring swift resolution of hardware, software, and network challenges.

Support will encompass all Apple products, with additional assistance to integrate and optimize their use within a professional environment.

Candidates must possess the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely identification and resolution of IT challenges, including hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Proactive oversight and upkeep of executive-level IT systems and equipment.
  • Expertise in Mac-based systems, with comprehensive knowledge of MacOS, iOS, and mobile device management.
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software solutions, including Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Oracle.
  • Support for Active Directory services, user account management, and access control.
  • Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure cohesive integration and resolution of intricate issues.
  • Basic familiarity with BigFix or Jamf.
  • Availability for on-call support during off-hours, including weekends and holidays, with prompt response times.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Mac deskside support for federal agencies or similar research institutions, with proven expertise in supporting high-profile clients and executives.
  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation are highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Oracle is essential.
  • Education: A degree in IT or Computer Science is required, with a preference for advanced degrees. Apple certification is mandatory.
