Nexthreat is seeking skilled Mac professionals to provide exceptional support to high-profile clients, ensuring swift resolution of hardware, software, and network challenges.

Support will encompass all Apple products, with additional assistance in integrating and utilizing these products within a corporate environment.

Candidate must possess the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Rapid response and resolution of IT challenges, including hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Proactive oversight and upkeep of executive-level IT devices and systems.
  • Expertise in Mac-based systems, with comprehensive knowledge of MacOS, iOS, mobile device support, and related technologies.
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications, including Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Oracle.
  • Support for Active Directory services, user account management, and access permissions.
  • Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration and resolution of complex issues.
  • Basic familiarity with BigFix or Jamf.
  • On-call support during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays, with prompt response times.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years in Mac deskside support for Federal agencies or similar research organizations, demonstrating expertise in supporting high-profile clients and executives.
  • Relevant IT certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency in ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Oracle are essential.
  • A relevant degree in IT or Computer Science is required, with a preference for advanced degrees. - Apple-certified - Mandatory.
