Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address and troubleshoot technical problems by engaging with users.

  • Respond to requests for technical support via various communication channels.

  • Deliver second-tier support for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware.
  • Collaborate with network services and software engineering teams to restore service and address core issues.
  • Simulate user problems to troubleshoot operational difficulties.
  • Recommend system modifications to minimize user challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of experience in installing and configuring system hardware and software in a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in applying operating system patches and upgrades.
  • Expertise in supporting desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 and Mac OSX.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools for remote support.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Experience providing administrative support in an IT setting.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Microsoft Certifications, such as MCP, are preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT service management platforms, such as ServiceNow, is advantageous.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and complex software issues.
  • Ability to convey complex technology concepts to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Office 2010+ and Office 365).
