We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Acosta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading the business planning process and developing strategic channel planning across our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proactive diagnosis and recommendations for clients across multi-channel development and strategic channel planning.
- Lead the annual business planning process for clients, including trade promotion strategy development and assessment.
- Assist with client sales strategies, including development, analysis, and implementation of sales objectives.
- Develop clear and actionable priorities and plans for sales strategy execution, working with our Field Sales team and broker team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in new business.
- Extensive knowledge of natural and grocery channel retailers.
- Broker management experience.
- Manufacturer/CPG experience.
- Working knowledge of distributor network.
- Highly proficient in supermarket math.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
