About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Acosta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading the business planning process and developing strategic channel planning across our client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement proactive diagnosis and recommendations for clients across multi-channel development and strategic channel planning.
  • Lead the annual business planning process for clients, including trade promotion strategy development and assessment.
  • Assist with client sales strategies, including development, analysis, and implementation of sales objectives.
  • Develop clear and actionable priorities and plans for sales strategy execution, working with our Field Sales team and broker team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in new business.
  • Extensive knowledge of natural and grocery channel retailers.
  • Broker management experience.
  • Manufacturer/CPG experience.
  • Working knowledge of distributor network.
  • Highly proficient in supermarket math.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
