Your New Role
This position is crucial for overseeing the production incentive process for episodic television across various domestic jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide budgeters in estimating incentives for different jurisdictions and review budgets to ensure accurate calculations.
  • Research applicable regulations to ensure project eligibility for incentives, communicate findings to stakeholders, and monitor compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update the internal database for tracking incentives.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation, applications, and registrations required for various production incentive programs.
  • Manage expectations regarding the timing of production incentive receivables.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Tax, Legal, Business Affairs, Post, etc.) on project-specific issues related to production incentives.
  • Provide guidance to Production Accounting on all matters related to incentives.
  • Engage with international consultants and service providers regarding production incentive matters.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or finance is required.
  • Experience in production accounting is preferred.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with production incentives.
  • Bonus: Understanding of the production process.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Accounting.
  • Relevant coursework in Accounting is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with personnel at all levels.
  • Strong multitasking skills to prioritize and meet competing goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent work ethic to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience with PSL, Smart Accounting, and Vista is a plus.

Compensation

We are committed to transparency regarding compensation. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and performance. Base pay is one component of Warner Media's total compensation package, which may also include bonuses, incentives, and a variety of employee benefits, including health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
