Position Overview:
We are in search of a dynamic Supervisor to oversee our operations.

The Supervisor will be tasked with managing the daily functions of the team while ensuring adherence to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing, along with relevant state mandates and industry contracts.

This role involves supervising and motivating staff to achieve optimal performance, managing testing selections and associated processes, and assisting the Associate Manager in executing programs and protocols within the department to cater to both Employers and industry professionals involved in the testing program.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the Testing Program
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies including DOT, FMCSA, DMV, CHP, FCRA, etc.
  • Facilitate the development and revision of procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal laws and company standards
  • Organize staff workflows to guarantee timely and accurate task completion
  • Engage with team members to convey departmental and organizational objectives, provide training, and address inquiries and suggestions
  • Review and authorize staff leave requests and timecards, escalating issues to the Associate Manager as necessary
  • Identify additional training opportunities for clients and staff
  • Conduct random selections for drug and alcohol testing in accordance with current DOT-FMCSA regulations and company policies
  • Oversee follow-up testing schedules and requirements in compliance with DOT-FMCSA regulations and company policies
  • Compile and analyze semi-annual and annual Management Information System (MIS) reports for the testing program in accordance with DOT-FMCSA regulations
  • Finalize and approve specific billing items processed by the Coordinator for payment by the Accounting Department and/or escalate to the Associate Manager as needed
  • Assist employers during the DOT audit process
