Role Overview

Joining Warner Bros. Games as a Senior Product Manager, you will drive research and advocate for the development & design strategies that are excelling in today's multi-platform gaming market. You will analyze internal and external research to generate actionable insights to shape the product strategy for a renowned AAA franchise. Collaborating closely with the Central Product Management team, development partners, and internal publishing teams, you will craft a strategic roadmap for the franchise and guide optimal product decisions across various games within it. By leveraging user feedback, analytics, industry best practices, and competitor analysis, you will contribute to the strategic implementation of projects across the franchise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with studio creatives to develop winning strategies for successful games within the franchise.
  • Define audience profiles and product positioning to support the overall franchise strategy.
  • Drive research and user testing initiatives to validate commercial viability.
  • Offer creative and genre expertise as required, drawing from industry knowledge and research.
  • Extract insights from internal game cycles to shape a strategy for achieving greater success.
  • Lead live operational frameworks and roadmap to ensure game longevity, supported by a deep understanding of content, features, economy, and production pipelines.
  • Monitor key metrics across franchise products, utilizing data and player input to measure success and guide priorities.
  • Analyze event results, promotions, and updates to enhance future strategies and activities in relevant products.
  • Collaborate with analytics team to provide actionable recommendations for development teams and communicate the ongoing impact on KPIs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in the gaming industry, preferably with AAA products.
  • 5+ years in a Product Management role.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Experience in managing live-ops and engagement events in F2P games.
  • Familiarity with Console & PC trends and best practices.
  • Proven track record in feature, promotional, and business model recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Background in data science or statistical analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of free-to-play games and business models.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical, logical, innovative, and creative problem-solving approach.
  • Exceptional product management skills at a features and systems level.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables, large data sets), and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible.
  • Experience in managing A/B tests and financial modeling.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry conferences as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Design, Systems Design, Engineering, or Mathematics. MA/MS/MBA is a plus.
