Position Overview:

The Content Sales Marketing Coordinator serves as a vital link between Marketing, Creative, Production, Sales, and various domestic affiliates/clients, including Broadcast Syndication, Cable, Streaming, and Global Airlines. This role is essential in facilitating a broad spectrum of marketing initiatives and managing brand/IP effectively. The coordinator's primary focus is to assist in executing marketing strategies that enhance ratings, client satisfaction, and revenue for Warner Bros. Discovery's distributed content. A positive and proactive attitude is crucial when interacting with both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, manage marketing calendars, and organize meetings.
  • Review and approve client marketing asset requests.
  • Engage in email and social media marketing efforts.
  • Assist with budget management, including Co-Op funds.
  • Contribute to program scheduling and ideation for promotional stunts.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming for show launches and significant sales events/campaigns.
  • Build and maintain marketing client relationships and networks, fostering strong internal and external partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, publicity, or promotion within an Agency, Streaming service, Studio, Social Media or Tech company, TV Station, or Network is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for TV, Film, and Marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and long-term projects.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a large team environment.
  • Motivated to support creators in telling their stories and driving revenue through Content Sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with design and A/V software such as Adobe Suite and Canva is preferred.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms like MailChimp.
  • Understanding of best practices in social media marketing, design, and content creation.
  • A genuine passion for Warner Bros. Discovery's culture and a love for Television and Film.
