Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategy: Create and execute a multi-year fundraising plan that emphasizes building relationships, engagement, investment, stewardship, and measurable goals.
- Lead Fundraising and Development Team: Supervise and support the Development Associate in their role, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
- Cultivate and Secure Major Gifts: Identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors and foundations to support our organizational goals and priorities.
- Manage Donor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure a culture of philanthropy and community engagement.
- Develop and Manage Budgets: Create and manage budgets for fundraising and event activities, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving fundraising goals.
- Collaborate with Leadership Team: Work closely with the Executive Director and other senior leaders to ensure alignment and integration of fundraising efforts with organizational goals and objectives.
- Represent REPRO Rising Virginia: Serve as a spokesperson for the organization, representing our mission and values to donors, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and leadership, with a proven track record of managing direct reports and achieving fundraising goals.
- Strong Fundraising Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, including major gifts, planned giving, and corporate partnerships.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to drive fundraising growth and success.
- Collaborative Leader: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on collaboration, empathy, and direct communication.
