Position Overview:
Hamilton is on the lookout for skilled Assembly Technicians to enhance our Robotics division. We seek individuals who possess the capability to work with precision and adhere to schematics and instructions meticulously. The role of an assembler necessitates exceptional manual dexterity and proficiency in handling small components and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, calibrate, and evaluate a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, from simple to complex.
  • Maintain a vigilant awareness of safety conditions, equipment, and practices, taking corrective measures as necessary.
  • Process work orders in alignment with manufacturing standards, including adherence to work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Follow procedures related to material control, product serialization, and inventory transfers.
  • Enhance and/or sustain performance metrics: Quantity, Quality, Job Knowledge, Cooperation, and Attendance.
  • Support the training and guidance of fellow assemblers in proper assembly techniques and procedures.
  • Execute all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in utilizing standard testing equipment, such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering design drawings, manufacturing instructions, and inspection criteria.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical setting, troubleshooting complex electromechanical assemblies, is required.
