Key Responsibilities:
We are currently in search of skilled Assembly Technicians to enhance our Robotics division. Ideal candidates will possess the capability to work with precision and adhere to schematics and instructions meticulously. The role demands exceptional manual dexterity and proficiency in handling small components and hand tools.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assembling, calibrating, and testing a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, from simple to complex.
- Maintaining a keen awareness of safety standards related to working conditions, equipment, and practices, and taking corrective measures as necessary.
- Processing work orders in alignment with manufacturing protocols, including adherence to work instructions and technical drawings.
- Following procedures regarding material management, product serialization, and inventory transfers.
- Striving to enhance performance metrics: Quantity, Quality, Job Knowledge, Teamwork, and Attendance.
- Assisting in the training and guidance of fellow assemblers on proper assembly methods and techniques.
- Executing all other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using standard testing equipment, such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering design schematics, manufacturing guidelines, and inspection standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- An Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronics is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical setting, troubleshooting complex electromechanical assemblies is required.
