Key Responsibilities:
Hamilton is on the lookout for skilled Assembly Technicians to enhance our Robotics division. We seek individuals who can work with precision and adhere to schematics and instructions meticulously. The role of an assembler demands exceptional manual dexterity and the capability to handle small components and hand tools effectively.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assembling, calibrating, and testing a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, from simple to complex.
  • Maintaining a keen awareness of safety in working conditions, equipment, and practices, taking corrective measures when necessary.
  • Processing work orders in alignment with manufacturing standards, including detailed work instructions and drawings.
  • Adhering to procedures related to material control, product serialization, and stock transfers.
  • Striving to maintain and/or enhance performance metrics: Quantity, Quality, Job Knowledge, Cooperation, and Attendance.
  • Assisting in the training and guidance of fellow assemblers in proper assembly techniques and procedures.
  • Executing all other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using standard testing equipment, such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering design drawings, manufacturing instructions, and inspection criteria.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • An Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical setting, troubleshooting complex electromechanical assemblies, is required.
