Job Summary

Contemporaries is a government contracting firm providing HR and Staff support to federal and private organizations. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate events.
  • Work with vendors for office services, including maintenance and custodial efforts.
  • Organize and track office inventory, and coordinate meetings and meetings supplies.
  • Participate in meetings by recording minutes, setting up audiovisuals, and arranging seating.
  • Manage databases, data entry tasks, and physical files.
  • Assist with timekeeping, HR-related tasks, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage verbal and written communication, including phone, email, and memo management.
  • Manage documents, reports, letters, and memoranda.
  • Manage shipping and receiving of packages.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of administrative support experience.
  • High school diploma or college degree preferred.
  • Experience working in federal government or contract environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented personality.
