Job Overview

Position Summary: Are you detail-oriented and dedicated to assisting others? As a crucial first point of contact for the HomeSource initiative, you will guide clients through our array of services, manage essential documentation, and ensure efficient daily operations.

Location: Bend

Compensation: $22.95/hr

Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours/week

Benefits: Employee Assistance Program, sick leave accrual, vacation accrual, plus 14 paid Holidays annually

About NeighborImpact HomeSource: The NeighborImpact HomeSource program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering individuals to achieve and sustain homeownership. It provides a variety of services, including home buyer education, financial wellness classes, matched savings programs, and counseling for foreclosure and reverse mortgages. The program is designed to enhance household financial stability and equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain, maintain, and safeguard their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all HomeSource programs, managing triage, referrals, appointment scheduling, and client follow-ups.
  • Process, assess, and verify client applications and financial documents, ensuring accurate data entry into various databases.
  • Provide administrative support to the HomeSource Director and Specialists, assist with special projects as needed, and contribute to the overall functioning of the program.
  • Career advancement opportunities to a financial coach or housing counselor are available upon successful completion of the HUD exam.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is essential.
  • Proficiency in Internet applications, Microsoft Office, and data entry is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience is necessary, with preference given to candidates with financial or housing industry experience.
  • Notary certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, and access to reliable transportation are required.
  • A satisfactory criminal background check is mandatory.
