The successful candidate will serve as the coordinator of the 340B government drug discount program, covering Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center's inpatient and outpatient services, as well as contract community pharmacies. Additionally, the Pharmacy Technician will support Pharmacy Services in performing tasks to support departmental growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the 340B government drug discount program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support Pharmacy Services in performing tasks to support departmental growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
- Prior experience in 340B programs and hospital pharmacy operations is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
