Program Overview

Camp Fire Central Oregon is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Program Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs and services to elementary-aged youth in our afterschool program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with youth and families
  • Design and implement engaging activities and games that promote social-emotional learning and skill development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and inclusive environment
  • Manage program logistics and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Communicate effectively with youth, families, and colleagues to ensure program success

Requirements

  • Experience working with elementary-aged youth or demonstrated desire to learn
  • Training and experience in teaching, group management, and social-emotional learning
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
