Accounting Manager Job Description

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the development of the company's budget and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of the company's budget and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Oversee successful completion of month-end close, full accounting functions.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Coordinate external audits, including liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and long-term sustainability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
  • Public accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
