Senior Director of Sales – Data Center Solutions

Position Overview

The Senior Director of Sales will oversee initiatives related to AI-driven data centers, cloud services, and enterprise-level data solutions. This pivotal role entails crafting strategic business plans aimed at enhancing profitability and driving sales expansion. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic sales team, foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, and cultivate strong partnerships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide a sales team to surpass client expectations and achieve sustainable growth.
  • Formulate strategies to exceed sales objectives and capture new market opportunities.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop the sales force while ensuring accountability for performance.
  • Create compelling materials and proposals that showcase Delta's innovative solutions to prospective clients.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with influential decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Enhance financial performance metrics to optimize returns.

Additional Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the Data Center Solutions sector.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning skills with a proven history of delivering value.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Experience Requirements

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in sales.
  • 5-10 years of leadership or management experience is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, thrive under pressure, and adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or a Master's in Engineering is advantageous.

Sales Revenue Accountability

  • Accountable for achieving annual sales revenue targets for the Senior Director role.
