Job Title: Director of Sales, Infrared Optics Automotive
Job Summary:
Vital Materials is seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our Infrared Optics business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, establishing strategic relationships with key customers, and developing business plans to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Vital as a leading supplier of infrared optics for automotive applications
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase customer engagements, opportunities, and sales
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, and communicate key findings to executive management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business plans and implement sales strategies
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial infrared systems sales
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and establishing strategic relationships with key customers
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
Work Environment:
Vital Materials is a global company with operations in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. This role is based in the USA and requires regular domestic and occasional international travel.
