Role: Google Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Mountain View, CA, USA (Onsite)

Experience Required: 8+ years

Job Overview:

Key Skills: Infrastructure design, GKE, Cloud-native technologies, DevOps, Release planning, and Cutover experience.

  • Utilize cloud technologies and services to automate software deployments and platform management in a scalable, secure, and efficient manner.
  • Oversee both production and non-production cloud environments ensuring zero downtime.
  • Continuously assess architectural decisions to accommodate increasing scale and evolving technologies, aligning with the demands of a rapidly expanding business.
  • Lead initiatives for infrastructure and tooling enhancements that enable the organization to operate confidently and swiftly.
  • Establish a DevOps culture that empowers engineers and the broader business.
  • Implement scalable services based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Accountable for automation, system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability, and security.
  • Advocate for our initiatives within the organization and the technology sector.
  • Proactively address security vulnerabilities and establish a robust real-time monitoring system.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery tools such as GitLab, continuous deployment methodologies, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Demonstrate extensive production experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Compute, Networking, Functions, Kubernetes, storage, and security.
  • Have hands-on experience with Google's big data technology stack, including BigQuery, BigQuery Storage, BigQuery Analytics, and Cloud Data Prep.
  • Exhibit behaviors aligned with our Critical People Capabilities (CPC).

Expected annual compensation for this position ranges from [$80,000] to [$173,800]. The role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, which include a comprehensive range of medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and various other leave options.
