Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and sustain cloud-native applications utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Create distributed services that implement cloud functionalities.
  • Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to streamline provisioning and configuration management tasks.
  • Guarantee that cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance regulations, including data encryption, access management, and monitoring.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud applications and services.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including DevOps, to deploy and manage cloud-based solutions.

Education & Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in both private and public cloud computing, including serverless computing architectures, utilizing services like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
  • Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other providers.
  • Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in cloud development, such as Go.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in writing infrastructure code using Terraform or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of microservices design patterns, best practices, and tools for building scalable, loosely coupled cloud applications.
  • Ability to design and develop RESTful APIs for cloud services and applications.
  • Familiarity with Google Anthos.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the availability and performance of cloud applications (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD), and automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, load balancing, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role will vary based on geographical differentials in the labor market, with actual pay determined by factors such as relevant skills, experience, and comparisons to other employees in similar roles. The expected annual base compensation range for this position is between $135,000 and $190,000.

Regular full-time employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Vacation and Sick leave, electronic reimbursement, and more. Additionally, employees are eligible for bonus compensation based on individual, department, and company performance.
