Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Oshkosh. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Register guests, handle room reservations, and ensure accurate and efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the front desk computer system, manage guest information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on customer service and front desk operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel-specific software.
