Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Oversee the front desk's day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes for guests.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the front desk team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure guests receive exceptional customer service, handling complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Develop and maintain front desk training materials, conduct regular team meetings, and provide feedback to improve performance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage room inventory, rates, and reservations for online bookings and website reservations.
  • Financial Management: Perform back-office reconciliation, reporting, and processing of cash, credit cards, gift certificates, and other forms of payment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, restaurant, bar, banquets, sales, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality or equivalent education and relevant work experience in full-service hotel operations.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to effectively supervise and manage a team, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
