Position: Human Resources Assistant

Overview:

The Human Resources Assistant is essential in aiding the HR department by managing key administrative functions and services. This role involves maintaining accurate records, supporting employees, and streamlining HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage and update human resource documentation and files.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and recruitment processes.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all HR records and files.
  • Conduct audits of HR documentation to verify compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Collaborate with external benefits providers.
  • Engage in the recruitment process.
  • Issue employee identification cards.
  • Assist with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) information.
  • Evaluate candidates for the 401k plan.
  • Manage accident reports and safety communications.
  • Order necessary office supplies and training resources.
  • Oversee mail distribution and coordinate special events.
  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with payroll systems and HRIS is advantageous.
  • Capability to sit for prolonged periods and lift items up to 15 pounds.
