Carrier Enterprise is on the lookout for a sales-driven professional to take on the role of Branch Sales Manager.

Position Summary

The Branch Sales Manager serves as a pivotal sales leader overseeing the daily functions at our Sales Center. This role requires a proven ability to excel and lead within a collaborative and customer-centric atmosphere. Proficiency in computer skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential. The Branch Sales Manager is accountable for enhancing sales and profitability at their designated branch.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring the achievement of set sales and profitability targets as outlined by Regional Leadership; proficiently manage Profit and Loss.
  • Engage in effective business development initiatives, including prospecting, nurturing, and acquiring new clients, while identifying cross-selling opportunities and conducting customer visits.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service in the industry.
  • Collaborate directly with local sales teams to formulate strategies aimed at increasing store traffic and gathering valuable feedback from clients regarding service efforts.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage all direct reports in accordance with company policies. Supervise and develop Counter Sales Associates.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and safeguard all company assets against theft or damage.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, integrity, and a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Assign team members to various tasks as needed, including organizing merchandise displays and maintaining cleanliness to enhance product accessibility.
  • Adhere to all SOX key controls and provide constructive feedback, foster development in others, embrace change, and make clear, defined decisions.
  • Additional duties encompass Merchandising, Cost Control, Business Strategy, New Business Development, Staff Development, Asset Management, Marketing Strategy, and HVAC Technical Support.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred BA Degree or Associate Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing sales within a B2B environment, particularly in distribution or wholesale sales.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills; must be a team builder and player with a strong sales focus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft applications.
  • Proven leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • Prior experience in retail management is advantageous.
  • Sales-driven with the capacity to inspire and motivate sales and operational teams.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
