Carrier Enterprise is on the lookout for a sales-driven professional to take on the role of Branch Sales Manager.

Position Summary

The Branch Sales Manager is a pivotal sales leader overseeing the daily functions at our Sales Center. This role requires a proven ability to excel and lead within a collaborative and customer-centric atmosphere. Proficiency in computer applications is crucial, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Branch Sales Manager is ultimately accountable for enhancing sales and profitability at their branch.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the sales center, meeting established sales and profitability targets as set by regional leadership.
  • Implement effective business development strategies, including prospecting, nurturing, and acquiring new customers, while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Collaborate with local sales teams to devise strategies that increase store traffic and gather valuable feedback from clients regarding service efforts.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage all direct reports in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and safeguard company assets against theft or damage.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and integrity, with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Assign staff to various duties as necessary, including organizing merchandise displays and maintaining cleanliness to enhance product accessibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant controls and regulations.
  • Additional responsibilities encompass merchandising, cost management, business strategy, new business development, staff training, asset management, marketing strategy, and technical support in HVAC.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred BA or Associate's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing sales within a B2B distribution or wholesale environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills; a team builder and player focused on sales.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • Prior retail management experience is a plus.
