We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Office Administrator II to join our team at Hanger, Inc. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional administrative support to patients, colleagues, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and coordinate front office activities
- Validate insurance and payment authorization, and process claims
- Manage incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Obtain insurance authorization and provide financial counseling to patients
- Perform daily document research on our electronic health/medical record system
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Less than 1 year of customer service, administration, or related experience
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Ability to type 40 correct words per minute
- At least 1-2 years of experience with EMR/electronic health/medical record systems
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology
- Associate's degree
