Aquent Studios is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join a dedicated team at one of our esteemed clients. This role is essential for providing fundamental daily support in a computing environment, ensuring the seamless operation of the client's systems. As a tier 2 support technician, you will handle escalated service requests and contribute to maintaining an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
Support activities will involve a blend of technical expertise and administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Management of onsite desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Printer hardware oversight and smart hands support for server and network teams.
  • Assistance with conference room technology and asset lifecycle management.
  • Deployment of computers for unit customers.

Essential Qualifications:
1. 1-2 years of experience in desktop support is preferred; however, recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
2. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team to address challenges and execute projects.
3. Strong communication skills are essential.

Additional Duties May Include:
  • Imaging computers, replacing printer toner, and managing outdated asset disposal.
  • Documenting and distributing information, including asset updates and following established procedures for problem resolution.
  • Maintaining effective email communication and creating basic documentation, such as contact lists and service records.
  • Overseeing equipment maintenance, inventory management, and supplier interactions.
  • Utilizing technical knowledge to support operational processes, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
  • A degree in Computer Science or IT is preferred.
  • Experience in networking and server troubleshooting is advantageous.
