Event Sales Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:- Engaging with guests and clients regarding meetings, events, and group reservations
- Processing incoming business inquiries as directed
- Supporting in-house groups and meetings from the sales office
- Managing billing for groups and events
- Documenting meetings and events in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Group Resumes
- Serving as a liaison between the sales office and operational teams
- Completing assigned sales reports punctually
- Organizing and maintaining sales files
- Ordering necessary supplies and forms for the office
- Recording minutes for sales department meetings
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly packets with event schedules and sales summaries
- Inputting special events, citywide conventions, etc., into the system
- Coordinating items for sales blitzes and distribution of promotional materials
- Managing group blocks, rooming lists, and reservations
- Assisting in trade shows, wedding showcases, and bridal fairs
- Overseeing sales emails and following up on inquiries
- Performing additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 1-3 years of administrative experience is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Prior experience in hospitality and sales is mandatory
- Familiarity with Delphi and OnQ R&I is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and POS systems
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
