Compensation:
The remuneration for this position is 20 USD per hour.
Qualifications:
ACLED is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A degree in conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Fluency in English and French is required; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
- Experience in conducting desk-based research.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to incorporate feedback.
- Research experience in conflict studies or peacebuilding, particularly in the West and Central Africa regions, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the conflict landscape and key actors in the relevant countries.
- Access to a computer, reliable internet, email, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Application Process:
Interested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter outlining their qualifications, experience, and language skills through our career portal. Applications submitted through other means will not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a two-hour assessment to evaluate their coding skills.
