Fawkes IDM is seeking a highly skilled Conflict Resolution Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the firm avoids conflicts of interest when onboarding new clients, projects, or personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records in Firm databases and software for conflict resolution and client information.
- Process client intake requests, reviewing and amending requests as necessary, and collaborating with colleagues and lawyers to gather relevant details.
- Conduct thorough conflict searches, analyzing results and providing relevant information to stakeholders for conflict resolution.
- Liaise with various departments, including Accounting and Records Management, as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy of data in daily and weekly reports on potential and finalized clients/projects.
- Organize work tasks, set priorities, maintain electronic records, and ensure timely task updates.
- Deliver comprehensive results promptly, demonstrating accuracy and critical thinking even under time constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a law firm conflicts department.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
- Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrated trustworthiness in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, internet research, and database usage.
- Reliable, responsive, and motivated to address requests promptly.
- Flexible to work extra hours or shifts when needed.
