Job Overview

Fawkes IDM is seeking a highly skilled Conflict Resolution Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the firm avoids conflicts of interest when onboarding new clients, projects, or personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records in Firm databases and software for conflict resolution and client information.
  • Process client intake requests, reviewing and amending requests as necessary, and collaborating with colleagues and lawyers to gather relevant details.
  • Conduct thorough conflict searches, analyzing results and providing relevant information to stakeholders for conflict resolution.
  • Liaise with various departments, including Accounting and Records Management, as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data in daily and weekly reports on potential and finalized clients/projects.
  • Organize work tasks, set priorities, maintain electronic records, and ensure timely task updates.
  • Deliver comprehensive results promptly, demonstrating accuracy and critical thinking even under time constraints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a law firm conflicts department.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated trustworthiness in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, internet research, and database usage.
  • Reliable, responsive, and motivated to address requests promptly.
  • Flexible to work extra hours or shifts when needed.
