Position Overview:

This role mandates an active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and requires on-site presence in a secure environment.

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Network Engineer to become part of our dynamic technology team. This position offers a unique chance to engage with critical network systems and infrastructure in a high-security setting. Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage intricate network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and additional networking systems.
2. Conduct regular network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
3. Monitor network performance and integrity to ensure reliable system operation.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages.
5. Configure and install various network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to devise and implement network solutions and enhancements.
7. Ensure network security and connectivity, monitoring systems for any violations or breaches.
8. Perform network performance tests and compile reports based on findings.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to users and team members.
10. Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in network engineering.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a comparable role within the technology sector.
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated experience with network protocols, administration, and installation.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices in network management and system security.

Experience in architecting and installing network solutions for LAN/WAN networks, including firewall implementation and load-balancing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Routing, Switching, WAN, LAN, Monitoring, Performance, Patches, and Configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CCNA/CCNP or other relevant certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with ITIL or IT Service Management.
  • Master's Degree.
